About
Us We have tried many different ideas throughout the years on the farm such as pigs, farrow to finish operation, turkeys, chickens, ducks, geese, and pheasants. Having to diversify in order to stay on the farm. Now the Labrador journey all began with Daisy born in 1997, a 4 generation chocolate female. If you know labs they become very contagious with their unconditional love for people. Katie was found in her first litter and then Josie follow the next year. Rebecca begged to keep Penny a few years later from Kate. Our Labrador family was building. Maxwell came from Ontario and then Charlie the following year. Now Joey a yellow male was kept just as a pet from Kate's last Christmas litter, Rebecca has also claimed him. This year we are considering keeping a chocolate female from Josie's litter, the journey continues. Now I have enough for a dog sledding team. We purchased a sled from our niece in Whitehorse and harness for each. For the last couple of years the winters have provided enough snow to mush the dogs. This is even more fun than snowboarding or skiing. All the dogs are a very big part of our family and we spend most of our time with them, camping, walking, quading, and special rides to town.
